steel, and more.Duties: The CMM Programmer plays a pivotal role in
creating and implementing CMM programs, leveraging profound
knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to
interpret detailed customer prints. Collaborating closely with the
US quality team, the CMM Programmer ensures alignment with
priorities and prepares programs accordingly.Responsibilities:---
Interpret detailed prints and translate requirements to develop CMM
inspection programs, employing expertise in GD&T and adhering
to CMM programming best practices.--- Utilize Calypso software
proficiently to program CMMs based on provided part models.---
Demonstrate proficiency in SolidWorks to create part models when
necessary for CMM programming, ensuring accurate GD&T
application.--- Implement best practices for inspecting features,
considering factors such as data points, feature shape, scanning
rate, noise/filters, and tolerances.--- Apply CMM programming best
practices to align data bubbles with Inspection Data Sheet output
effectively.--- Possess 3-5 years of prior experience in creating
CMM programs for complex part geometries.Qualifications:---
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 4 to 6 years of
relevant experience.--- Proven track record in writing CMM programs
for intricate, tight tolerance parts.--- Proficiency in reading
drawings and applying GD&T principles.--- Experience with
Calypso software is required, while familiarity with Zeiss CMM
machines is preferred.--- Proficiency in 3D modeling using
SolidWorks is essential.--- Excellent English communication skills,
both verbal and written.--- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and
