As the Assistant Controller, you will work closely with the Controller and other departments to ensure the financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and payroll, with experience in inventory management, tax, audits, and more. Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the company's financial records, including monthly closing procedures and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee the Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections.
• Manage the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees.
• Assist in managing the company's inventory, including physical counts and reconciliations.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in the coordination of audits and other financial reviews.
• Provide financial analysis and support to other departments as needed.
• Continuously look for ways to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
  • Experience with payroll and inventory management.
  • Experience with tax compliance and audits.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
