Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager: Lead and execute the month-end close process in a high-volume, manual environment Oversee and perform complex account reconciliations and journal entries Manage cash operations and post manual payments with attention to accuracy Deliver insightful variance analysis with clear, concise commentary Supervise and mentor a team of three general ledger accountants Ideal Candidate Profile for the Accounting Manager: Previous experience in an Accounting Manager/Supervisor role Proven track record managing general ledger, reconciliations, and cash transactions Advanced Excel skills - you can build Pivot Tables from scratch, rock VLOOKUPs, IF statements, and complex formulas Thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Hands-on leader with a "no-task-too-small" mindset Experience with Sage X3 ?
