Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant - Manufacturing Industry

Accountant Key Responsibilities: G/L Closing and Journal Entries:
Drive monthly and year-end General Ledger (G/L) closing processes
for multiple locations. Prepare, review, and enter journal entries
to ensure accurate financial reporting. Compliance and Transaction
Review: Ensure all transactions comply with applicable company
policies and procedures. Verify transactions are properly approved
and recorded in line with current accounting standards. Financial
Documentation: Prepare working papers, schedules, and reports to
support accounting activities and audit requirements. Examine
documentation to verify the accuracy of computations and ensure
completeness. Account Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet and
income statement account reconciliations to ensure financial
integrity. Identify and resolve discrepancies in account balances.
Financial Analysis: Analyze business performance drivers and
prepare reports for management review. Provide insights and
recommendations based on financial analysis to support
decision-making. Treasury Functions: Set up ACH payments, wires,
and positive pay uploads with the bank. Manage daily positive pay
exceptions and clear any discrepancies promptly. Senior Staff
Accountant Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is preferred but not
required. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably
in the manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of GAAP and
other relevant accounting standards. Proficient in accounting
software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
