Senior Estimator – Commercial Construction | Austin, TX Company
Overview: Join a reputable general contractor in Austin, TX,
specializing in large-scale, ground-up commercial construction
projects across office, industrial, healthcare, retail, and
mixed-use sectors. Position Summary: Seeking a Senior Estimator to
lead preconstruction efforts, develop accurate estimates, and
collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to
deliver competitive bids. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed
estimates for large-scale ground-up commercial projects. Perform
quantity takeoffs, cost analyses, and value engineering.
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and
subcontractors. Identify project risks and recommend cost-saving
solutions. Present estimates to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications: 7 years of commercial construction estimating
experience. Proficiency in estimating software . Strong knowledge
of construction methods and materials . Excellent communication and
negotiation skills. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or
