This position offers an opportunity to provide essential physical therapy services within a K-12 educational setting in Brenham, TX. The role is a contract position lasting through the current school year (CSY), serving students across multiple grade levels. Support is provided by a collaborative and encouraging team environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver itinerant physical therapy services to students, supporting their individual educational and functional needs. Manage a caseload of approximately 11-15 students, with specific assignments determined based on candidate qualifications and student requirements. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations. Qualifications and Experience: Valid and current physical therapy license. Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting preferred. Ability to work independently within an itinerant model, managing time effectively across multiple locations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with school staff and families. Flexibility to work approximately 2 to 2.5 days per week (around 15 hours weekly). Commitment to supporting the physical and educational development of students. Location: Position is based in Brenham, TX, with service possibly extending to College Station, TX area. Schedule: Part-time role, approximately 2 to 2.5 days per week. Immediate availability preferred, position extends through May 22.
