Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher
of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the
Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
opportunity is available for a Visually Impaired Teacher serving
students across K-12 grade levels. This position supports Grades
K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, providing specialized instruction tailored to
students with visual impairments. The role requires a commitment to
a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, based in Spring, TX.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group instruction
to visually impaired students across elementary, middle, and high
school levels. Develop and implement tailored educational plans
that accommodate the unique needs of each student. Collaborate with
classroom teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure
comprehensive support. May travel itinerantly between multiple
school sites within the district as needed. Monitor student
progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Utilize
assistive technology and specialized materials to enhance learning
outcomes. Desired Qualifications: Experience teaching visually
impaired students in Grades K-12. Strong understanding of
instructional strategies for visually impaired learners. Ability to
manage a varied caseload across multiple grade levels and school
settings. Flexibility and willingness to travel between district
campuses during the workweek. Excellent communication and
collaboration skills. Location: Spring, TX Schedule: Full-time,
37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday Contract Position This role
