Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute maintenance activities in
accordance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and
procedures, with a strong focus on health, safety, and
environmental compliance. Collaborate with operations, engineering,
and project teams to support integrated efforts. Review and provide
input on control specifications and maintenance practices. Maintain
accountability for electrical and control systems as outlined in
the Work Management Manual. Apply and follow work permits using the
Permit to Work System (PTWS). Ensure timely and high-quality
completion of tasks scheduled through the Maintenance Program.
Continuously develop technical skills and stay updated on new
regulations, technologies, and equipment. Lead or participate in
technical meetings to share updates on codes, procedures, and best
practices. Promote open communication on electrical and control
issues, including safety practices and training needs. Support work
prioritization to enhance team efficiency and coordination. Provide
technical guidance and troubleshooting support to peers on I&E
systems. Initiate and follow through on Management of Change (MOC)
requests related to electrical and control systems. Inspect and
monitor new installations for compliance and recommend improvements
as needed. Serve as backup for the Instrument and Electrical Lead
when required. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Associate
degree, preferably supplemented with technical training. Minimum of
5 years of experience in maintaining electrical and instrumentation
systems in a processing or offshore production environment.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with oil and gas facility
regulations. Knowledge of Operations Integrity Management System
(OIMS) and related procedures. Proficient in safety,
administrative, and technical training requirements per company
standards. Strong computing and troubleshooting skills. Experience
with: Allen-Bradley, ROC, and IDEC systems HMI platforms such as
Red Lion, Crimson, and PanelView Behavioral Competencies: Strong
safety orientation Effective communication and organizational
skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving
abilities Additional Requirements: Must have access to an
agency-provided truck. Tools and 4-gas monitor will be supplied by
the company. Initial meetings via Zoom or phone; in-person
follow-ups may be required (30 minutes). Note: There will be no
