Job Description:
14/14 Schedule, 12 hour days in Spring, TX SCADA experience
required Main Functions Operate equipment and wells using safety
procedures and guidelines. Meet daily operational plans. Reduce
equipment failure. Administer resources efficiently. Tasks and
Responsibilities Implement daily work objectives, including
housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security tasks.
Actively participate in daily toolbox and regular safety meetings.
Monitor wells and equipment continuously to identify and implement
corrective and optimization actions. Perform simple maintenance
activities as an Equipment Care Technician. Report any issues with
alarm, emergency, or emergency shutdown systems. Provide detailed
and accurate shift change information to ensure operational
continuity. Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance jobs
(corrective, predictive, and preventive). Log all relevant
operational events, abnormalities, or deviations in the logbook.
Take product samples for lab analysis and conduct field lab tests.
Participate in emergency response activities. Report incidents and
escalate as per Incident Reporting Guidelines. Keep Operations
Shift Supervisor informed and consulted on operational activities.
Maintain good communication within the team to address issues
effectively. Provide basic information on well production problems,
current rates, and well conditions. Ensure thorough diagnostics
before requesting Well Work intervention. Maintain wellhead and
surface equipment in good condition before Wellwork operations.
Support ongoing Wellwork operations as needed. Skills and
Qualifications Completed secondary education. Previous experience
as a Field Technician. Strong oral and written communication
skills. High standards in Safety, Health, and Environment
practices. Extensive knowledge/experience in: Pipeline operations
Safety and operations management tools/processes Emergency
Preparedness Procedures Project Philosophy and Design
Specifications Familiarity with relevant regulations and commercial
agreements. Preferred Experience Production, midstream, tank
battery, compressor station, or onshore field experience. Process
Operations (Non-Refinery). Upstream Production from the Wellhead.
Experience or familiarity with operations in: West Texas New Mexico
