EMPLOYER: Halliburton energy services, inc. Job Title: Tech
Advisor-Completions Job Location: 3000 N. Sam Houston Parkway East,
Houston, TX 77032 Duties: Responsibilities include: Responsible for
planning, directing, and coordinating engineering efforts in the
delivery of Tools and Testing of Completion products and services.
Provides engineering and operational expertise to external
customers. Negotiates critical and controversial issues with
top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and
companies. Meet with oil and gas operator personnel to understand
the conditions, challenges, and requirements of downhole completion
tools and deployment services. Utilize information gained and
prepare a thorough plan for the best downhole tools to meet the
environmental demands. Perform customization/design of tools and
development of new tools and technologies where required. Position
is not only responsible for the development of technical proposals
but also preparing and closing all transactions inside of customer
framework agreements and or contracts. Once the tool
customization/manufacturing is complete, this position serves as an
area subject matter expert to support the deployment and
installation of the tools. Requirements: Employer will accept a
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 8 years of
experience in the job offered or in a Tech Advisor-Completions
related role. Position also requires experience in the following:
Experience delivering technical presentations on real-time
monitoring and management systems for production and injection
tools and services, presenting data analysis results, performance
metrics and improvement strategies to customers and stakeholders.
Experience with downhole sensors and surface-controlled downhole
interval control valve tool selection, identifying relevant,
important reservoir & production information to ensure product
selection meets the needs of the client. Experience with creating,
tracking and updating customer opportunities, sharing information
internally/externally to promote company and increase market share.
Experience with managing cost estimates and placing orders to
manufacturing plants, identifying cost savings and maximizing
profit. Experience reading and reviewing Engineering Design Prints,
hydraulic and electrical process schematics. Experience preparing
and presenting financial business plans to highlight project
profitability and business importance. Experience
preparing/reviewing hydrostatic & hydraulic packer set up
calculations, safety valve design selection and setting depth
recommendation and limitations. Experience preparing downhole
sensors and surface-controlled downhole interval control valves
installation procedures and drawings to support completion
installation. Experience with MS VISIO and drafting preliminary
design sketches for client/internal information & direction.
Experience in performing hydraulic/hydrostatic calculations and
