Job Description:
Job Title: Service Project Manager Work Location: Austin, TX
Education/Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Construction
Sciences, Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree is
preferred or equivalent experience; 5 years of experience Job
Description: Advises, consults and coordinates service projects
such as developing the addition, expansion or extension of an
existing facility; or renovation/alterations to a facility in
collaboration with project team. Develops assignments, timetables
and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the
project. Organizes and ensures that materials and equipment
resources are delivered on time. Responsibilities: Responsible for
quality projects being built on time and within budget. Ensures
scope/change orders are processed and incorporated into the current
scope of work in a timely Meets with clients and establishes their
requirements. Reviews plans, specifications, submittals and other
contract documents to create a job plan for the successful
completion of assigned projects. Provides regular detailed
reporting and metrics to upper management on existing projects that
provides periodic status and end of contract cost and budget
Conducts pre-job planning with proper parties, ensures all action
items are completed. Develops and keeps all project schedules
current. Establishes and executes subcontracts and equipment
buy-outs to support schedules and Represents company and project
details in meetings with client, subcontractors, etc. Communicates
all project issues to the appropriate level of management in a
timely Assembles the estimate for the project and reviews with
field supervisor, effective manpower planning for future projects,
including direction of specialty subcontractors. Prepares and
submits monthly contract billings to ensure proper cash flow during
contract Manages conflict resolution with customers, vendors,
trades or Identifies and develops policies and procedures for
continuous aggressive Visits job sites or onsite offices, performs
work inspections, checks job progress, and resolves project and
contract Responsible for keeping the Warranty Log up to date Skills
& Qualifications: Minimum education preferred of the position
Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering
or similar engineering degree is preferred or equivalent
experience. Minimum experience preferred of the position 5 years
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities preferred of the position
Excellent Organization skills. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Able to
demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach. Ability to
prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities, as
necessary. Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to
changing requirements with a positive attitude Ability to be
self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player Ability to
interact effectively and professionally with all levels of
employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and
others. Tactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to
