Job Description:
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the
following: Must perform all aspects of their position with safety
as the top priority. Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all systems
associated with a wide variety of production equipment. Responsible
for preventative maintenance, project work, and other work as
assigned. Must have a working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic,
and electrical systems up to and including 480VAC. Work
individually or with team members and maintain a positive work
environment. Ability to follow specifications, blueprints, manuals,
and schematic drawings. Must have excellent diagnostic skills for
troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. Clean and lubricate
shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery as needed.
Install and repair electrical systems and components of industrial
machinery using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities and
initiatives. Must be able to safely operate equipment such as fork
and scissor lifts for overhead work. Millwright’s abilities
(welding, pipefitting, and the use of shop equipment) are a plus.
Ability to climb ladders. Other duties as assigned. Professional

Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of maintenance technician
experience in a manufacturing environment or similar position. Must
be able to work a night shift, normally 6PM-6AM, Monday-Thursday
(48 hrs./wk.) Valid driver’s license. Experience working on
mechanical and/or electrical equipment (installation, maintenance,
and troubleshooting). Understanding of electrical circuits and
pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Will need to be able to work
over-time as required. Be dependable with commitment to attendance
and punctuality. Be able to work well with others in a plant
environment, including weekends (if necessary). PLC and/or welding
skills a plus. All team members are expected to follow the Code of

Attendance Policy of VT Industries. Physical Requirements Tolerance
for standing and sitting for long periods of time. Possess finger
dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator. Maintain adequate
vision to view small print and/or computer terminal. Ability to
speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional light
lifting (25 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
with hands and arms required. The physical demands described here
