Job Description:
Must perform all aspects of their position with safety as the
top priority. Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all systems
associated with a wide variety of production equipment, building
and facility maintenance. Responsible for production maintenance,
project work, and other work as assigned. Must have a working
knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems up to
and including 480VAC. Work individually or with team members and
maintain a positive work environment. Ability to instruct and
educate maintenance technicians on proper techniques and
troubleshooting Ability to follow specifications, blueprints,
manuals, and schematic drawings. Must have excellent diagnostic
skills for troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. Install and
repair electrical systems and components of industrial machinery
using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment. Actively
participate in Continuous Improvement activities and initiatives.
Must be able to safely operate equipment such as forklifts and
scissor lifts for overhead work. Millwright’s abilities (welding,
pipefitting, and the use of shop equipment) are a plus. Ability to
climb ladders. Other duties as assigned. Professional

Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of maintenance technician
experience in a manufacturing environment or similar position.
Experience working on mechanical and/or electrical equipment
(installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting). Understanding of
electrical circuits and pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Will need
to be able to work overtime as required. Be dependable with a
commitment to attendance and punctuality. Be able to work well with
others in a plant environment including weekends (if necessary).
Valid driver’s license. PLC troubleshooting / welding / machining
skills a plus. Normal working hours are 5:30 AM – 4PM
Monday-Thursday with Fridays only if required. Models VT’s Mission,

Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and the like, using feet
and legs and/or hands and arms. Maintain body equilibrium to
prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on narrow,
slipper, or erratically moving surfaces. Bend body downward and
forward by bending at the waist. Stand and walk for extended
periods of time. Push, pull, lift, and grasp, exerting up to 50
pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force
frequently. Must have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or
heavy equipment. Subject to indoor and outdoor environmental
conditions, including extreme cold and extreme heat on occasion.

Starting Pay: 25 Depending on Experience!
