Expertise Degree (BS preferred) in Mechanical, Piping Design &
Drafting, or relevant discipline. 10 years relevant experience
working in conceptual design, pre-FEED, FEED, EPCI projects,
on-shore projects, modules and skidded equipment, and design.
Experience in piping layout for onshore process plants preferred.
Demonstrate the ability to work across multiple disciplines,
independently consolidate and analyze information from various
sources to develop effective, complete, and holistic client
solutions. Demonstrates advanced knowledge in instrument and
process piping lay outs, structure support lay outs, and 3D
modeling. Possesses knowledge and practical use of modeling
software such as AutoCAD, 3D CAD (PDMS) or equivalent. Demonstrates
knowledge of piping lay out practices, specifications, and
application for onshore and potentially offshore projects,
including capability to perform pipe material and wall thickness
calculations and select pipe bends using relevant industry codes.
Duties Develop the whole facility layout drawing/ model with
complete piping systems integrating other package/ product design
drawings into the model identifying any gaps, conflicts, or
inconsistencies. Ensure designs adhere to applicable industry and
project standards with a mind to ensuring that the structures will
ultimately meet targeted regional / country regulations and
standards. Produce piping Material Take-Off documents for finalized
submission and authorization for construction. Release all project/
product Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and specifications.
Provide clarifications to the fabricators, suppliers, and
sub-contractors during fabrication as required. Attend design
review meetings, engineering interface meetings, Health Safety and
Environment (HSE) workshops, risk workshops, etc. with clients/
contractors, and internal teams as required. Support project teams
throughout the design, construction, transportation, and
installation portion of the project and provide guidance to the
project engineering teams as required.
