(Project) Engineer for aircraft wheels and brakes. The role
involves sustainment of in-service wheel and brake products through
evaluation, planning, testing, and implementation of proposed
changes. Changes may be associated with quality improvements, cost
reduction, supply security, manufacturing efficiency, or
performance improvements related to wheel brake components. In
addition to managing longer-term projects, this position supports
resolution of day-to-day manufacturing, supply chain, and field
issues as they arise. This position will be working onsite in Troy,
OH. Relocation assistance is available. What You Will Do Evaluate
proposed product or manufacturing process changes and develop
validation plans Document and justify changes by writing detailed,
formal engineering reports Prepare and submit customer change
approval documents Maintain drawings, specifications, and BOM’s for
in-service programs Coordinate among manufacturing sites,
suppliers, customers, and internal groups to gather information,
meet milestones, and drive projects to completion. Prepare test
plans, procure test hardware and materials, and analyze results
Assist with evaluation and resolution of day-to-day manufacturing
issues Communicate and present technical data to internal and
external customers Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires
a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced
Degree in a related field Experience reading and understanding
mechanical drawings and 3D models Experience with writing and
communicating technical information Qualifications We Prefer
Engineering project management experience Experience with
Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and methodologies Aerospace
industry experience Experience working in customer facing roles

hybrid or remote. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD -
131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the
role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work
experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as
