We are seeking a Sustaining (Project) Engineer for aircraft wheels and brakes. The role involves sustainment of in-service wheel and brake products through evaluation, planning, testing, and implementation of proposed changes. Changes may be associated with quality improvements, cost reduction, supply security, manufacturing efficiency, or performance improvements related to wheel brake components. In addition to managing longer-term projects, this position supports resolution of day-to-day manufacturing, supply chain, and field issues as they arise. This position will be working onsite in Troy, OH. Relocation assistance is available. What You Will Do Evaluate proposed product or manufacturing process changes and develop validation plans Document and justify changes by writing detailed, formal engineering reports Prepare and submit customer change approval documents Maintain drawings, specifications, and BOM’s for in-service programs Coordinate among manufacturing sites, suppliers, customers, and internal groups to gather information, meet milestones, and drive projects to completion. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
