DIRECTOR, PRODUCT DEVELOPMENTJOB SUMMARY:The Director of Product
Development will lead our organization's product strategy,
development, implementation, and management. This role is
responsible for driving the success and growth of the organization
by overseeing the development of new product lines and managing
existing products. The Director will oversee the implementation and
ongoing synchronization of all Community Health Choice's programs,
including regulatory review, program launch, and operational
processes. They will monitor program performance post-launch and
collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The role
involves integrating multiple project plans to create cohesive
programs with clear milestones, managing project plans, schedules,
and resources to ensure completion within regulatory, scope,
budget, time, and quality parameters.JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE
COMPETENCIES:
- Support leadership across operational areas as the liaison to
state and federal partners regarding program readiness reviews,
implementation, and oversight activities, including STAR+PLUS,
STAR, CHIP, Medicare (DSNP), and Marketplace programs.
- Build consensus across departments during product development,
implementation, and operations through strong cross-functional
relationships, engaging stakeholders, and managing program
initiatives to meet milestones.
- Manage all program deliverables using matrixed resources,
escalate gaps and barriers, and prepare senior management reports
on program progress and performance metrics.
- Serve as an industry subject matter expert in program-covered
services, developing business case methodologies and participating
in strategic planning.
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly assimilate information, make
informed decisions, and communicate effectively, handling multiple
priorities and ambiguity.
- Identify operational efficiencies to meet regulatory
expectations and develop best practices through assessment and
enhancement of operational models.
- Oversee post-implementation reviews to address issues and
continuous improvement.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business
Administration, or related field required; Master's preferred.
- Experience: 10 years in managed healthcare, including
STAR+PLUS, STAR, CHIP, Medicare (DSNP), and Marketplace
programs.
- Management: 5 years of management experience.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.ADDITIONAL
SKILLS:
- Strong leadership, team management, and performance-driving
skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and creative
solution development abilities.
- Deep knowledge of managed care programs.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle
multiple deadlines.
- Effective stakeholder communication and presentation
skills.
- Willingness to travel within Houston, surrounding counties, and
Austin, TX.
