About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Branch Network Management Trainee
(SAFE) for National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small
and Business Banking division. This is an interim non-exempt
position until the trainee has received certification of program
completion and been placed into a branch. Successful completion of
the Branch Manager Readiness program is a pre-requisite to
transition into a non-exempt Associate Branch Manager (ABM) or
exempt Branch Manager (BM) role. Employees who are not currently in
an ABM or BM role at the time of hire will participate in the
Branch Manager Readiness program.
Our Branch Managers are responsible for leading, managing and
developing a diverse team of direct and indirect reports, creating
a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and
accountability to business outcomes. Successful Branch Managers are
able to lead a highly defined customer engagement process, coaching
to specific behaviors that lead to an enhanced customer experience
and drive growth in the business, while also driving accountability
for operational excellence. This involves executing policies and
procedures in alignment with applicable regulations, as well as
audit and escalation procedures, and managing the allocation of
people and financial resources for the branch.
