Responsibilities
Expectations: Clinical needs include ICU, Med Surg/Telemetry,
Emergency, OR/PACU, Cardiac Cath Lab and Women's' Services .
The RN Division Float Pool assesses, analyzes, plans, implements
and evaluates patient care following established patient care
standards set the organization. The primary function of this role
is to be available and flexible to float to various departments,
and sites throughout the Texas Market to provide patient care,
which could include but not limited to scheduling day of staffing,
more than one assignment location within a single shift, travel
assignments, or seasonal staffing patterns. Participates as a
member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the
direction of a Clinical Leader. Clinical needs include ICU, Med
Surg/Telemetry, Emergency, OR/PACU, Cardiac Cath Lab and Women's'
Services .
RN Clinical Float Pool are hired with the understanding they must
float based on the tiers below, t he schedule is based on the needs
of the organization:
Float RN I A: Employee agrees to be assigned to any facility within
their designated market. Must be available to be scheduled a
minimum of 2 shifts every week or 4 shifts per pay period. Must be
available to be scheduled a Saturday and Sunday shift every other
weekend OR agree to schedule 2 on-call shifts in the pay period.
Must be available to be scheduled for two major holidays per
policy. Tier I only applies to the following markets: South and
North Houston; Brazos Valley and East Texas. Baylor St. Luke's
Medical Center is not included.
The rate of pay for this level of commitment is $50.00. Mileage
reimbursement and applicable differentials will apply if
eligible.
Float RN I B: Employee agrees to be assigned to any facility within
their designated market. Must be available to be scheduled a
minimum of 3 shifts every week or 6 shifts per pay period. Must be
available to be scheduled a Saturday and Sunday shift every other
weekend OR agree to schedule 2 on-call shifts in the pay period.
Must be available to be scheduled for two major holidays per
policy. Tier I only applies to the following markets: South and
North Houston; Brazos Valley and East Texas. Baylor St. Luke's
Medical Center is not included.
The rate of pay for this level of commitment is $55.00 . Mileage
reimbursement and applicable differentials will apply if
eligible.
Float RN II A: Employee agrees to be assigned to Baylor St. Luke's
Medical Center and either North or South Houston market. Must be
available to be scheduled a minimum of 2 shifts every week or 4
shifts per pay period. Must be available to be scheduled a Saturday
and Sunday shift every other weekend OR agree to schedule 2 on-call
shifts in the pay period. Must be available to be scheduled for two
major holidays per policy.
The rate of pay for this level of commitment is $57.0 0. Mileage
reimbursement and applicable differentials will apply if
eligible.
Float RN II B : Employees agree to be assigned to Baylor St. Luke's
Medical Center and either the North or South Houston market. Must
be available to be scheduled a minimum of 3 shifts every week or 6
shifts per pay period. Must be available to be scheduled a Saturday
and Sunday shift every other weekend OR agree to schedule 2 on-call
shifts in the pay period. Must be available to be scheduled for two
major holidays per policy.
The rate of pay for this level of commitment is $60.0 0. Mileage
reimbursement and applicable differentials will apply if
eligible.
Float RN III A: Employee (with a minimum of a 2 hour notice) will
agree to float to any facility within the Texas division. Must be
available to be scheduled a minimum of 2 shifts every week or 4
shifts per pay period. Must be available to be scheduled a Saturday
and Sunday shift every other weekend OR agree to schedule 2 on-call
shifts in the pay period. Must be available to be scheduled for two
major holidays per policy.
The rate of pay for this level of commitment is $65.0 0. Mileage
reimbursement and applicable differentials will apply if
eligible.
Float RN III B: Employees (with a minimum of a 2 hour notice) will
agree to float to any facility within the Texas division. Must be
available to be scheduled a minimum of 3 shifts every week or 6
shifts per pay period. Must be available to be scheduled a Saturday
and Sunday shift every other weekend OR agree to schedule 2 on-call
shifts in the pay period. Must be available to be scheduled for two
major holidays per policy.
The rate of pay for this level of commitment is $70.0 0. Mileage
reimbursement and applicable differentials will apply if
eligible.

Two (2) year of RN experience working in an acute care facility
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
$44.73 - $64.85 /hour
