(MA/LMSW)Position Summary:Provides social services to patients and
families; these functions contribute to the quality of continuum of
care. Also precepts new employees through the orientation process
and mentors existing employees to enhancetheir professional
development. Responsibilities include involvement with special
projects upon assignment.--Job Duties/Responsibilities:--Completes
evaluations from patient/family interviews and healthcare team
collaborations. Based on evaluation, develops a viable plan of
intervention for current needs with consideration of
illness/injury, livingsituation, support systems and financial
status. In addition, contributes to department's ongoing
professional enhancement thru role of preceptor and mentor and

Qualifications Education, Training, Experience and
Licenses/Registrations Required:1. A minimum of 5 years Social Work
experience preferred.2. LMSW license by the Texas State Board of
Social Work Examiners.3. Internal promotion requires recommendation
