Health is seeking a passionate and skilled RN Research Associate to
support several NIH-funded studies advancing maternal health. This
is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of clinical
care and research-helping shape the future of women's health
through rigorous, patient-centered science.Key
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations of complex clinical research
studies
- Identify, consent, and enroll study participants
- Conduct study procedures, monitor safety, and manage data
- Maintain study materials, regulatory documentation, and visit
schedules
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and institutional partners
across the university and beyond
- Contribute to research meetings, reporting, and compliance
activitiesRequired Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current Texas RN
license
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of combined clinical and
research experience
- Minimum of 2 years in obstetrics (L&D or postpartum
preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation
skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and REDCapPreferred
Qualifications:
- Spanish fluency
- Experience with pharmaceutical or health services research
- Prior clinical research coordination and recruitment
experience
- Certification in clinical research (e.g., SOCRA or ACRP)
- Experience placing Foley balloons or performing OB-specific
