Job Summary The Mid Medical Event Operations Specialist is responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of Medical Education programs and related events. This includes venue sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, on-site support, and post-event evaluation. Acting as a strategic business partner to internal stakeholders, this role ensures a consistent, high-quality experience aligned with regulatory and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
End-to-end planning and execution of Medical Education programs and related events-Venue sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, on-site support, and post-event evaluation-Develop and manage event budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective solutions-Conduct site and venue selection, issue RFPs, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contracts-Oversee logistics such as AV/production, ground transportation, F&B, and event technology-Manage attendee registration, communications, and on-site support-Provide reports including rooming lists, participant lists, transportation, group air, translation services, and more-Foster strong relationships with hotel and AV vendors; stay up-to-date with trends in top destination markets-Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and HCP interaction guidelines-Resolve on-site issues and serve as the primary point of contact during live events-Deliver seamless, high-touch service throughout all event phases, from planning to execution to post-event review-Manage Open Payments and other regulatory reporting requirements-Adhere to company code of conduct, business policies, and all local laws-Maintain a high standard of ethical and compliant event planning practices-Perform additional duties as needed in alignment with the job scope-Stay ahead of industry trends, proactively address challenges, and implement improvements in event planning and execution
