full-time experienced Registered Nurses to join our team at Baylor
Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas; The 1 one city in
the nation for Nursing opportunities and advancement! Baylor Scott
& White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching
hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and
Austin. /n Why Neuro PCU? /n This 38-bed telemetry monitored
nursing unit provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety
of patients. As a Neuro PCU RN, no two days are alike. Staff on
this unit practice within the team nursing model and consider
teamwork our greatest strength in providing safe, quality, and
compassionate patient care. This unit includes: /n · 4 Bed Epilepsy
Monitoring Unit /n · Award winning Comprehensive Stroke Center
certified through Joint Commission /n The conditions that are
primarily of service for our Neuro PCU include: /n ·
Hemicraniectomy /n · Aneurysm Clip and Coils /n · Glioblastomas /n
· Carotid Endarterectomy /n · TIA /n · Stroke – Hemorrhagic and
Ischemic /n · Neurosurgery /n · Seizures /n · Brain Mass /n

Requirements of the Ideal Candidate: /n · Graduate of RN School of
Nursing /n · ADN required; BSN preferred /n · Must be licensed to
practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examiners for
the State of Texas /n · Preferred 12-18 Months of RN experience,
Acute Care or Hospital setting preferred /n · Basic Life Support
(BLS) Required. /n · Functions competently and effectively under
pressure and emergency situations Qualifications - Grad of an
Accredited Program - Specialized field of study should be nursing.
- RN license. - Must have BLS certification or get it within 30
days of starting in this role.
