We are currently seeking a highly skilled and certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for utilizing radioactive materials to perform diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures. This role demands a high level of precision and compliance with strict safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients and staff. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation to patients using radioisotope equipment under the direction of a physician. Perform patient imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation. Analyze biologic specimens in the laboratory. Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation. Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and imaging equipment. Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements for radiation safety and hazardous materials handling. Educate patients on procedure details and safety protocols. Proficiency in the operation of nuclear medicine equipment. Ability to handle radiopharmaceuticals safely. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
