We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Pathologist to provide expert therapy services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages. Join our dedicated team to help improve the quality of life for your patients by facilitating improved communication skills and swallowing functions. Evaluate patient speech, language, cognitive-communicative and swallowing abilities. Develop and implement treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes. Educate family members or caregivers about strategies to support the patient's communication and swallowing skills. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and records of patient progress. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Participate in continuing education and professional growth activities. Stay updated on the latest research and technologies pertinent to speech pathology. Strong understanding of the anatomy and physiology of speech mechanisms and disorders. Ability to use and interpret standard speech pathology diagnostics and treatments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse patient demographic and healthcare team. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
