Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist Specialty: Radiology - CT Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: 12H Day, Evening Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) Fluoro permit required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in X-ray/CT. Candidates may not have been directly employed by any associated facility within the past year. Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination. Candidates may be asked to precept as needed by the unit. Description: This position requires floating between two campuses as needed. The department has 2 CT scanners and 2 X-ray rooms. Normal X-rays and CT scans are performed in this department. The average number of scans/studies performed daily is around 20-30. The department uses EMR (Meditech) and PACS (Synapse) for imaging. Staff is required to start IVs, but assistance is available if needed. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Holiday coverage will be rotated among core staff. There is a weekly call rotation every 3-4 weeks, which will be discussed in the interview. Scrubs are required to be black, and are not provided. The cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment. The charting system used is MEDHOST - Enterprise. This is an acute care setting within the allied division.
