Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Conroe, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,744 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Conroe, Texas, 77304! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: ICU experience with ventilator and cardiovascular drips Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit. The unit has a capacity of 30 beds and is staffed by 82 individuals. Staffing includes 2 charge nurses and 15 nurses, depending on acuity and 1:1 needs. Patient ratios can be 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1. Equipment used includes CRRT, IABP, and Impella, although familiarity with this equipment is not mandatory for contracts. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Ideal candidates will have ICU experience specifically with ventilator management and administering cardiovascular drips. Preferred candidates will have neuro experience. Typical procedures performed on the unit include thoracentesis, arterial line placement, and central line placement. The dress code requires royal blue scrubs.
