Job Opportunity – ECMO/CVICU RN – Texas Start Date: September 29, 2025 Location: Austin, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week contract, night shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 6 weekend shifts per schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), no call required Highlights: State-of-the-art 8-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit specializing in complex cardiac and ECMO care 1:1 and 2:1 patient ratios ensuring comprehensive patient care and professional development Advanced equipment including Centrimag ECMO circuits, Impella CP and 5.5, Prismax CRRT, and Tablo SLED machines Meditech EMR system with GE bedside monitors and Alaris IV pumps Collaborative team of 25 nursing professionals with charge nurse support on every shift Exposure to high-acuity procedures including central lines, chest tubes, bronchoscopies, and tracheostomies Requirements: Active RN license Critical care experience required Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation Experience with titratable drips and hemodynamic management Background in respiratory care including vents, BiPap, trachs, and Airvo Open heart surgery recovery experience ECMO, Impella, and intra-aortic balloon pump experience CRRT/SLED experience CVICU charge experience preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge cardiac technology in a supportive environment that values teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
