Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Med Surg License: Current RN License Certifications: Required - BLS; Preferred - ACLS Must-Have: - Med Surg experience - Excellent customer service skills - ACLS and telemetry experience Description: This is a fast-paced unit with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The unit has 32 beds with patient ratios ranging from 1:5 to 1:6. Nurse techs and unit secretaries are available to assist on the unit. Bedside telemetry is the primary type of equipment used. The documentation system is Meditech. Staff will be required to float to another medical surgical unit and handle emergency department holds if needed. Familiarity with AIDET and hourly rounding is required for patient experience. Royal blue scrubs are required as the uniform. Unit-specific policies and guidelines apply.
