Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,688 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/15/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Austin, Texas, 78705! Job Title: RN CVOR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR Registered Nurse in a high-volume hospital setting License: Current RN licensure Certifications: ACLS certification preferred, BLS required Must-Have: Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Description: The CVOR service line provides surgical interventions for routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Cardiac procedures include coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, and placement of ventricular assist devices. Procedures may include placement of impella or intra-aortic balloon pump and adult ECMO. TAVR procedures are also done in the endovascular operating room. Thoracic cases include laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures. Vascular procedures range from placement/revision of grafts and fistulas to endovascular procedures in the endovascular operating room. The CVOR service line comprises multiple operating rooms depending on daily volume, including an endovascular suite. The CVOR service line has the capacity to complete several concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass. Candidates must provide verifiable references from at least two prior assignments confirming no training was needed. Candidates must be able to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment and hit the ground running. The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts based on department needs.
