Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be tasked with providing top-tier speech therapy services in both facility-based and home-based settings. This position offers the unique opportunity to work within a network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies, helping a diverse patient population regain and enhance their communication abilities. Our ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to the principles of patient-centered care. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs. Educate patients and family members about communication disorders and proper coping techniques. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient treatments and progress. Provide training and supervision to speech pathology interns or less experienced staff. Expertise in various speech therapy techniques and assessments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Capability to work compassionately with patients of various age groups and backgrounds Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to unpredictable situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
