Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to
join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at our inpatient
rehabilitation facilities. We focus on providing high-quality,
patient-centered care and innovative treatment, tailoring our
approach to meet the recovery needs of each individual patient.
This role requires proficiency in managing complex patient
situations and delivering compassionate care. As an RN with
Encompass Health, you will play a pivotal role in our patients'
journey to reclaim control of their lives and return to their
communities. Assess patients' health problems and needs, develop
and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled
patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease
prevention or provide case management. Monitor, record, and report
symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Direct and supervise
less experienced nursing staff. Maintain a safe and clean working
environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Facilitate patient rehabilitation and support families in
understanding condition and treatments. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Proficiency in clinical skills with an
ability to handle medical emergencies. High level of compassion and
empathy. Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge
of healthcare software and systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certified. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred.
