Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care focusing on innovative treatment and rehabilitation. Our RNs work in a dynamic environment where they make a significant impact on patient recovery and outcomes. This role requires excellent clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to teamwork. Assess patient condition by monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to treatments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Record patient care services and maintain accurate patient documentation. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of the treatment plan. Supervise and direct nursing staff and participate in educational programs for staff and community outreach. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
