Job Description:
Join the dedicated team at Encompass Health as a Physical
Therapist Assistant and contribute to our mission of setting the
standard in post-acute care through patient-centered treatment and
innovative rehabilitation practices in our network of inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals. This role supports the physical therapist
in implementing patient treatment plans, helping patients regain
their strength and mobility, and ensuring the highest level of
recovery and independence. The ideal candidate is compassionate,
skilled in physical therapy techniques, and dedicated to enhancing
patient outcomes. Assist the physical therapist in the execution of
patient treatment plans. Document patient responses to therapy and
report the results to a supervising therapist. Help patients use
necessary devices and practices to diminish pain and improve
mobility. Educate patients and families about post-recovery
activities and exercises. Maintain a clean and organized treatment
environment to comply with safety regulations. Strong understanding
of physical therapy modalities and techniques. Ability to handle
multiple patients and tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed or certification as a
Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of employment. CPR and
First Aid certification preferred.
