Aveanna Healthcare is actively seeking a compassionate and driven Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will work in the comforting environment of our patients' homes, focusing on helping patients of all ages achieve their highest level of independence through personalized therapeutic strategies. Our occupational therapists play a critical role in assessing patient needs, developing effective treatment plans, and ensuring patient-centered care aligns with our goals of enhancing wellness and quality of life across diverse populations. Assess patient health conditions through interviews and physical examinations Develop and implement occupational therapy interventions based on patient-specific needs Educate patients and families on proper home health care strategies and care interventions Regularly evaluate and record patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as with Aveanna Healthcare’s standards Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with pediatric and adult home health care Ability to work independently in a home setting Proficiency in the use of healthcare technology and occupational therapy tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Occupational Therapist license in the practicing state NBCOT Certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) CPR and First Aid certification preferred
