Memorial Hermann, a leading health system in Texas, is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer for weekend shifts at our Children's Hospital. This role is crucial in helping us uphold our commitment to improving health through high-quality care and clinical excellence. As a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer, you will work in our state-of-the-art facilities, using advanced imaging technologies to assess and diagnose cardiac conditions in pediatric patients. Your expertise will contribute to our ongoing efforts to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes. Perform detailed pediatric echocardiograms and other cardiovascular tests to assess the heart and vascular structures. Work collaboratively with pediatric cardiologists to interpret data and determine appropriate diagnostic procedures. Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures. Adhere to departmental protocols and standards while operating sonographic equipment. Document and maintain accurate patient records and test results for clinical use. Engage in continuous education to keep up with advances in sonographic technology and pediatric cardiac care. Proficient in pediatric echocardiography Strong analytical and diagnostic skills Excellent patient interaction skills, especially with children Ability to operate complex imaging equipment Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - Pediatric specialty preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Active state licensure as required
