Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a premier Texas health system, is seeking an
Assistant Nurse Manager to enhance our commitment to clinical
excellence and patient care. The Assistant Nurse Manager will
support the Nurse Manager in daily operations, oversee patient care
activities, ensure adherence to procedures, and mentor nursing
staff. This role is pivotal in maintaining the standards of
excellence that define Memorial Hermann. Assist the Nurse Manager
in overseeing clinical and administrative operations of the nursing
unit. Monitor patient care for quality and adherence to standards
and regulations. Coordinate staff schedules, training, and
evaluations. Implement health and safety protocols. Collaborate
with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Participate in the
development of nursing policies and procedures. Manage patient
records and documentation. Provide clinical guidance and mentorship
to nursing staff. Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in
clinical and administrative hospital procedures Ability to mentor
and train staff Knowledge of healthcare regulations and
accreditations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
