Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team at St. Joseph Medical Group (SJMG) as a PRN
Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Assistant) for our Express Care (Urgent Care) clinics in
Bryan/College Station. This is an exciting opportunity to provide
high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative
environment, supporting the healthcare needs of our local
communities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to

a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing
medical staff. While prior experience in an Urgent Care setting is
beneficial, it is not mandatory; we happily consider new graduates
who are eager to learn and grow with us.
This PRN position offers the flexibility to pick up shifts that
align with your availability, including 12-hour weekday and 8-hour
weekend shifts, while contributing to the vital care delivered in
our Express Care clinics.
Location: St. Joseph Medical Group (SJMG) Express Care
Clinics in Bryan or College Station, Texas
Shift Schedule: Flexible shifts, including 12-hour weekday
shifts (Monday-Friday) and 8-hour weekend shifts.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Obtain and accurately record comprehensive medical
histories.
- Perform thorough physical examinations, including rectal and
pelvic exams as appropriate.
- Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic and
therapeutic procedures, including laboratory tests and other
relevant diagnostics as applicable to the scope of practice.
- Formulate precise diagnoses based on clinical findings and
diagnostic results.
- Identify and prescribe appropriate pharmacologic agents and
non-pharmacologic interventions, adhering strictly to the
guidelines set by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, Texas Board
of Medicine, Prescriptive Authority/Collaborative Practice
Agreement, and DEA regulations.
- Provide comprehensive education and counseling to patients and
their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and
preventative care.
- Make appropriate and timely referrals to specialists and other
healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
Job Requirements

Education and Certifications Required:
- Master's degree graduate from an approved Physician Assistant
(PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.
- Current, unencumbered Texas license as a Physician Assistant or
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- National Board Certification in your respective field (e.g.,
ANCC, AANP, NCCPA).
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience preferred, but new
graduates are happily considered and encouraged to apply!

Pay Range
$80.00 - $80.00 /hour
