Job Description: We are seeking 3 or more CCIE Network Consultant for a 3-6+ month possibly longer in Austin TX with an outside shot at direct hire! We need a person who has a CCIE (Written and Lab) and have a solid background with routers, switches and firewalls. The position is self-explanatory for this level person where someone will come in and provide hands on support, leadership and some assistance with planning and architecture. There is a very good chance of extensions as this customer is a very Cisco Gold Partner. There will be times travel will come into play nationally but would not be more then 25%

Essential Functions of the Job:

Managing project teams of client and internal personnel for project profitability and consultant utilization.

Lead identification of business and technical requirements.

-

Developing project work plans (scope) to meet client requirements.

-

Designing solutions to meet the clients’ complex IT technical requirements.

-

Implementing technologies and solutions based on designs.

-

Testing IT technologies and solutions.

-

Training people internally on complex technology.

-

Helping to develop technology practices while ensuring a personal specialization in one or more IT technologies.

Supporting sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Must pass a criminal background check

- 5+ years experience working in the IT Field

- Must have a CCIE (Written & Lab)

- Solid background with Firewalls, Routers and Switches

- Must have excellent communication and customer services skills. As well as presentation skills
