hybrid flexibility after onboarding A well-regarded boutique law
firm specializing in insurance coverage and litigation defense is
seeking an Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience in
insurance coverage law. This firm has a long-standing reputation
for excellence in representing both insurers and policyholders in
complex first- and third-party coverage matters. Key
Responsibilities: Advise clients on a wide range of first-party and
third-party coverage issues, including property, casualty,
liability, and commercial policies. Interpret and analyze insurance
contracts, exclusions, and obligations under state and federal law.
Draft detailed opinion letters and provide strategic guidance to
clients on claim handling and potential exposures. Conduct legal
research and analysis related to policy language, statutes, and
case law. (Optional) Participate in coverage litigation, including
drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and representing clients in
hearings or mediations. Collaborate with adjusters, experts, and
client teams to resolve disputes and negotiate favorable outcomes.
Ensure accurate and timely filing of legal documents and case
management deadlines. Qualifications: J.D. from an accredited law
school and licensed to practice in Texas. 2–5 years of insurance
coverage experience, preferably with exposure to both policyholder
and insurer representation. Strong analytical and writing skills,
with experience drafting opinion letters and legal memoranda.
Familiarity with litigation processes is a plus, but not required.
High level of professionalism and ability to manage multiple
