Hogan1 is seeking a skilled and dependable CDL A Truck Driver to join our illustrious team in the transportation and logistics sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods across various routes, ensuring our service quality remains unparalleled in the industry. Safely drive and operate your assigned truck over prescribed routes. Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection of vehicle, ensuring safety and reliability before each trip. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, collecting and verifying delivery instructions. Report defects, accidents, or violations of cargo deliveries, and maintain a log of working hours. Manage documentation associated with freight transportation, and maintain communication with the central dispatch unit for updates on work assignments. Proven ability to handle and maneuver a truck and trailer. Solid understanding of truck maintenance and repair. Excellent time management to fulfill tight schedules. Good geographical knowledge.
