Job Description:

tractor-trailer or heavy truck to successfully transport goods and
materials, adhering to strict delivery schedules. Perform pre-trip
and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and
readiness of the vehicle, and to comply with all regulations.
Efficiently manage routes and schedules to maximize productivity
and minimize downtime. Maintain accurate logs of all transportation
activities, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and
delivery documentation. Ensure all consignments are secured
properly in accordance with safety requirements. Collaborate
regularly with the logistics team to optimize distribution plans
and identify any opportunities for improvement in the
transportation process. Provide excellent customer service and
handle shipment issues on the spot. Proficient in operating
tractor-trailers and heavy trucks, with a strong emphasis on safety
and regulatory compliance. Adept at navigating various weather
conditions and terrains. Excellent logistical and route management
capabilities. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain accurate transportation logs and records.
