Job Description:
Hogan1 is currently seeking a highly skilled and certified CDL A
Truck Driver who is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of
transportation and logistics services. As a pivotal member of our
team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safe and
efficient delivery of our clients' goods across multiple locations.
Our drivers are not just at the wheel; they are the backbone of our
success, driving us forward with integrity and excellence. Operate
a tractor-trailer or truck with a capacity of at least 26,000
pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Check vehicles to ensure that
mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working
order. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions,
following signals from loading crew as needed; check that vehicle
and loading equipment are properly positioned. Collect and verify
delivery instructions, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.
Report defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the
vehicles. Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and
repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Comply with truck driving
rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking,
and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands-on experience with
electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.) Ability
to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of
applicable truck driving rules and regulations Adaptability and
foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather
conditions etc.) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid truck driving license (CDL A)
No recent moving or driving violations Passed DOT drug test and
have no prior DUI convictions Medical examination certificate
