autonomous and intelligent platforms. As an Industrial Engineer,
you will be responsible for optimizing our manufacturing and
operational processes related to the development of autonomous
surface vessels. Your role will involve applying principles of
material flow, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data analytics to
improve the efficiency of our production systems, reduce waste, and
ensure that all systems are cost-effective, safe, and sustainable.
You will work closely with our engineering, operations, and
production teams to enhance our ability to deliver high-quality
products in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities Analyze and optimize material flow across
manufacturing processes to ensure smooth, efficient production of
autonomous surface vessels. Implement lean manufacturing principles
and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve cycle times,
and increase throughput. Conduct data analysis and generate
actionable insights to guide process improvements and
decision-making. Develop and refine production workflows, ensuring
that materials, components, and labor are utilized efficiently and
effectively. Support the development and implementation of
performance metrics, KPIs, and other tools to track and improve
production efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams
(engineering, design, operations) to ensure that new products or
changes to existing products are optimized for manufacturability.
Identify and address bottlenecks, quality issues, and other
inefficiencies in the production process. Assist in capacity
planning and resource allocation to meet production goals. Provide
guidance and training on lean, Six Sigma, and data analytics
techniques to team members. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in
Industrial Engineering or a related field. At least 3 years of
experience in industrial engineering, with a strong background in
material flow, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data analytics.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, or other
statistical software. Strong understanding of manufacturing
processes, production planning, and workflow optimization.
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma,
Kaizen, etc.) and ability to implement them effectively. Lean Six
Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus. Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify
root causes and develop practical solutions. Strong communication
and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a
cross-functional team environment. Familiarity with production
environments, preferably in high-tech, defense, or maritime
industries. Physical Demands Ability to perform physically
demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours/day

ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs Ability to work outside
for an extended period of time Frequently and repetitively, bend,
lift and reach to install vehicle parts of varying size and weight

and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven
terrain Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and
crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours/day
Climb and maintain balance on ladders, platforms, or other high
structures Ability to find issues in a work process and be alert to
safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing Demonstrated ability
to handle and manipulate tooling and mechanically fasten bolts
within required cycle time Exposures to hazardous materials and
ability to follow waste handling/disposal procedures Wearing
