If this is you, we invite you to apply to become a member of our team.Required Education:Bachelor's Degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired Experience:Four years of related experience in project coordination/administrationRequired Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.Experience working with diverse individuals and communitiesPreferred Experience:Two years of experience in grant development and fluent knowledge of software applications to include Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, Filemaker, InDesign, Dreamweaver and PowerPointJob ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, coordinates, and assists principal investigators with the completion of project technical reports, act as a Liaison to Sponsor Research Office and assist in composing grant materials per sponsor requirements.Coordinates multiple work streams to ensure cross-project dependencies and impacts are identified and managed. Prepare and coordinate preaward sponsor required documents, technical editing of documents, and upload of completed documents to sponsor submission site. Prepare and coordinate submission of post-award documents and assist with annual progress reports.Ensures compliance with applicable regulations, interprets policies, rules and regulations and monitors for compliance.Coordinates the development, design, and implementation of new services. Maintains database integrity, security and accuracy.Assist with the preparation of figures and graphs for grants, manuscripts and presentationsProvide technical editing services for a variety of faculty and staff documentsMaintain departmental website and social media presence in coordination with departmental faculty and staff from College of Medicine Marketing and Communications OfficeCompile detailed departmental data as request by the Department Head, other departments, system components and national agenciesDisseminate information and notifications to departmental personnel and produce informational flyers for departmental useDesign and maintain departmental databases for lab orders and seminar programAssist departmental faculty and staff with use of software and equipmentTroubleshoot software-related equipment problems in coordination with technical support personnelSet-up courses and course evaluations in online course management software systemUpload/manage teaching materials and video recordings in the online course management software system throughout each semesterSchedule classrooms for coursesUnder general supervision and coordination with faculty host or planning committee; assists with the completion of special projects. Develops and coordinates project plans through full implementation.Coordinate with vendors and others in the delivery and support for systems and services.Assist Administrative Associate III with departmental seminar coordination including guest invitations and travel arrangements, advertising and logistics. Process Travel Requisitions and Expense reports for guest travel to Bryan Campus and for employee travel to scientific meetings in ConcurProcess Academic Collaboration packets for undergraduate students participating in research lab for course creditProcess H-1B, J-1 and other visas in support of Visiting Scholars and employeesProvide support to business staff as a back-up approver/allocator in A Systems (FAMIS, AggieBuy, Concur)Departmental Contact for: Parking, Facilities Work Orders, First Report of InjuryMay supervise students.Assist Alt PO with day-to-day management of department inventory to include tagging equipment, updating equipment locations, coordinate transfer of items to surplus or other TAMU System departments, coordination of relocation of labs on campus or PI moves to other institutionsAssist Alt PO with annual inventory processOther Duties as AssignedOther Requirements or Other FactorsAbility to walk or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to travel to conferences or meetings and stay overnight to coordinate events hosted by the departmentPreferred Other FactorsAbility to lift up to 50 structions to Applicants: Applications received by Texas A University must either have all job application data entered or a resume attached.
