Job description JOB DETAILSBase Pay starting at $19.50 per hourShift: Day Shift - 6:00 am - 4:00 pmDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex manufacturing equipment to ensure production processes are reliable and consistent. You must have the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences and have good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. You must be very detail oriented and demonstrate the ability to work independently and within teamsThe safe operation, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation of all activities regarding manufacturing equipmentWorks with production departments to schedule troubleshooting and repairs of equipment issuesMaintains a strong focus on SafetyPerforms duties safely and ensures the safety of others by wearing proper protective equipment, following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and complying with other safety practices and proceduresMaintain documentation related to work done through the CMMSSupports the maintenance inventory system by looking up and researching parts needed to maintain production equipment and to keep track of all parts usedAssists in special projects and changes to existing production lines and in the set-up of new production linesAttends maintenance training courses on and off siteSupports the production lines on a daily-needs basis Qualifications Associate Degree in technical related field, work or apprenticeship equivalent experienceKnowledge of OSHA requirements, mechanical, electrical, and PLC controlled systems is requiredBasic skills in reading and comprehension of electrical schematics and pneumatic/hydraulic principles and diagrams are also necessaryMust be competent in skills related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsExperience troubleshooting machines, i.e., electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systemsFlexible regarding schedule and travel requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsInitiative and ability to effectively manage assigned workBasic computer skills and knowledgeBilingual Spanish preferredAbility to work in a fast paced and high stress environmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistMust be able to stand and walk for long periods of time Additional information Address: 615 W.
