Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time school social worker position is available in Haslett, MI, supporting K-12 students with a comprehensive caseload. This contract role starts as soon as possible, continuing through June 5, 2026. The position involves working onsite within a school setting to provide essential social work services that support students' academic and social success. Key Responsibilities: Assess and address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students Collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to develop and implement intervention plans Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and case management to support student wellbeing Advocate for students' needs within the school system Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant policies and regulations Qualifications: Fully licensed LMSW through LARA Full Approval or Professional Certification as a School Social Worker through MDE No or limited license SW candidates will not be considered Must be available to work onsite during school hours Experience working with K-12 students is preferred Location: Haslett, MI This opportunity is ideal for a licensed social worker seeking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by addressing their social and emotional challenges within the educational environment.
