Our Manufacturing Facility Position: Senior Injection Mold
Technician Location: Houston, TX Your role as a Senior Injection
Mold Technician will be pivotal in maintaining our production
efficacy by diagnosing issues and conducting repairs on intricate
injection molds. Precision Work: Ensure precision maintenance of
molds within our production settings. Maintenance and Repair:
Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and necessary
modifications. Documentation: Accumulate, document, and report
technical results. Operate Equipment: Utilize a wide array of
tool-room machinery including CNC, EDM, and manual operations.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose, clean, and solve issues related to
Molding Tools and monitor production efficiency. Technical
Evaluation: Review new methodologies, engineering specifications,
and execute detailed set-ups. Lead & Monitor: Oversee assignments
and support further problem isolation. Qualifications We Seek Hold
a High School Diploma, or equivalent. Proficient in English
communication. Bring at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Work Schedule: Saturday – Tuesday; 4:00am - 2:30pm CST Minimal
Travel: 0 – 5% Relocation & Sponsorship: Not available Preferred
Expertise Experience within the medical device industry’s toolroom.
Comprehension of mold design and associated problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of tolerances, parameters, and hot runner repairs. Mold
polishing and tool precision are second-nature. Flourish with Alcon
